Getting There
Cecil Green Park House sits at the western tip of the UBC campus, on the cliffs of Point Grey
By Car
From downtown Vancouver, head west across the Burrard or Granville Bridge and continue along 4th, 10th, or 16th Avenue. Follow signs toward UBC and enter via Gate 3 on Chancellor Boulevard / NW Marine Drive. Shortly after the gate, turn right onto Cecil Green Park Road — the house is at the end of the road.
Drop-off: Guests may be dropped off at the main entrance. The driveway is not for parking and closes at 10 pm.
Parking: Limited street parking is available on Cecil Green Park Road (free evenings and weekends via Honk Mobile). Note: nearby seismic construction (through September 2027) reduces available spaces — we recommend the UBC Rose Garden Parkade at 6278 NW Marine Drive as your first choice.
By Bus
Several express buses run directly to UBC from downtown and across the city. The 99 B-Line along Broadway is the fastest option from central Vancouver — alight at the UBC Exchange, then take Route 68 on campus toward the Rose Garden. Cecil Green Park House is a short walk from the Rose Garden terminus.
Key routes: 99 B-Line (Broadway), R4 RapidBus (41st Ave from Oakridge), 44 (from downtown), 84 (from downtown).
Payment: Pay with a contactless card, phone, or Compass Card. A 2-zone fare covers most of Metro Vancouver.
By Taxi or Rideshare
Uber, Lyft, and KABU all operate in Vancouver. Simply share the address — 6251 Cecil Green Park Road — with your driver. Rideshare pickup and drop-off zones are available throughout UBC campus. This is the easiest option if you plan to enjoy the open bar.
From downtown: Expect around 25–35 minutes depending on traffic, and roughly $30–40.
By Air
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is served by direct flights from most major North American cities as well as many international destinations. From YVR, take the Canada Line SkyTrain to Broadway-City Hall Station (~25 min), then the 99 B-Line bus direct to UBC (~30 min). Total journey is around one hour.
Canada Line fare: The airport adds a $5 surcharge on top of the standard fare (~$10 total to UBC). Pay by contactless card at the fare gate.
Taxi from YVR: A taxi from the airport to Cecil Green Park House takes 30–50 minutes and costs approximately $45–55.
